Have you heard about the Bringing Baby Home^TM Workshop?  It's FINALLY available in Los Angeles!  You do NOT want to miss this workshop if you are having a baby within the next six months, or had a baby within the past two years.  The seminar is a serious marriage saver! 

When a baby arrives, everything changes. Parents must adapt to the 24/7 care of a new, vulnerable infant – an enormous task. Not surprisingly, 40 to 70% of couples experience stress, profound conflict and drops in marital satisfaction during this time, all of which affect their baby's care. Bringing Baby Home was designed based on the research of Relationship Expert Psychologists Dr. John Gottman and Dr. Julie Schwartz Gottman to help couples through the difficult transition that new parents can experience when a baby is born.  You will learn how to spot and avoid the pitfalls and develop tools for dealing effectively with conflict.  You will learn how to co-care for each other and your infant so the experience can bring you closer together and strengthen your bond rather than weaken it.

The workshop will be presented by liscenced psychologist Dr. Alyssa Berlin, PsyD and Certified Birth doula and postpartum support/lactation educator Cheri Masek.  Classes will be offered at various locations, dates and times throughout the city, including the Pump Station, JennyBec's Childhood Treasures and more.  Class size is limited and pre-registration is required.  Fee: $395.00 per couple, which includes workbook and materials.
